Call for Applications for IPAC SWO Conference Scholarship
IPAC SWO members can now apply for funding towards registration for the IPAC Canada National 2024 Conference. Funds can only be used towards the early-bird virtual or in-person conference registration. Pre-conference registration costs and other event attendance (travel, hotel) or registration costs for special events are not eligible for funding.
IPAC SWO uses an equitable approach to make this benefit available to as many members as possible. This means that all eligible applicants will be awarded a portion of the total amount budgeted. Amount awarded to all individuals will vary depending on the total number of applicants to a maximum of $450 for virtual registration applicants and $800 for in-person registration applicants. Please note that a large number of applicants will mean that amounts could be significantly lower than the registration cost. Members are encouraged to take advantage of other sources of conference funding, if available.
The deadline to apply for this funding is April 26, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Applicants will be notified of the amount they are eligible for by May 3, 2024. The deadline for Early Bird Registration is May 15, 2024. Funds will be reimbursed following the conference and pending submission of proof of registration (receipt) and attendance by June 26, 2024.
