Call for Applications for IPAC Canada Conference Funding (for SWO Members)
IPAC SWO members can now apply for funding towards registration for the IPAC Canada National 2025 Conference. Funds can only be used towards the base cost of the early-bird virtual or early-bird in-person conference registration, before taxes and fees. Pre-conference registration costs, other event attendance (travel, hotel) and registration costs for special events are not eligible for funding.
IPAC SWO uses an equitable approach to make this benefit available to as many members as possible. This means that all eligible applicants will be awarded a portion of the total amount budgeted. Amount awarded to all individuals will vary depending on the total number of applicants to a maximum of $450 for virtual registration applicants and $800 for in-person registration applicants. Please note that a large number of applicants will mean that amounts could be significantly lower than the registration cost. Members are encouraged to take advantage of other sources of conference funding, if available.
The deadline to apply for this funding is April 22, 2025 at 11:59 pm. Applicants will be notified of the amount they are eligible for by April 25, 2025. The deadline for Early Bird Registration is May 9, 2025.
Funds will be reimbursed following the conference and pending submission of proof of registration (receipt) and attendance by June 27, 2025.
